Fantasy Pickups for Deep Leagues - Mike Bibby, Troy Murphy

Fantasy Pickups for Deep Leagues. If you are looking to improve your 3pt standing in fantasy basketball then this is your chance. 2 veteran players will be joining playoff-contending teams in the next few days.

Mike Bibby - From Atlanta to Washington to Miami. He was sent to Washington for Kirk Hinrich and now he was bought out to be able to play with a playoff team. He is going to Miami. He might or might not hold the starting role but he can give you the 3s you need. If things look good, he might get the starting gig and you'll get a boost in assists as well.

Troy Murphy - The 3pt specialist rebounding forward. He is reported to be going to the mighty Celtics. Given the vacuum created by Kendrick Perkins' departure, Troy might be able to carve out a niche in Boston and be relevant in fantasyland once again.

These 2 players should be watched in standard leagues. But if you are in a deep league (12 teams or more), then you may take the risk by adding them from the waiver wire.

Mo Williams is Back!

Mo Williams is Back! Mo Williams, LeBron James's former sidekick in Cleveland is back. Not in Cleveland, but in LA as part of the Clippers team. He was sent there as part of the deal that traded him and JMoon for Baron Davis.

In his first game as a Clipper, he started as the PG and brought in 16 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Not bad for a player coming off a recent injury and a newbie to his new team's playbook.

If you play basketball fantasy, he is worth a look at standard leagues. But if you can get him in deep leagues, then he is a must own. Given that he remains the starting point guard, expect his assists and points to go up.
